Client Testimonials
One of the most popular national parks in India, Bandhavgarh National Park is abundant in history and wildlife. It is believed that the first White tiger in the world was discovered here and all the White tigers around the globe can be traced back to this forest. Legends aside, the reserve has the high tiger density in the country. The high tiger density means chances of spotting the majestic animal at Bandhavgarh National Park are very high.
Bandhavgarh National Park is as Much About Wildlife As it is About History
The undulating forest nestles several caves with rock paintings that hold historical significance. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve derives its name from the namesake fort that dates back to the pre-Christ era. Folklore has it that the fort was built by the Hindu God Ram, who gifted it to his brother Laxman. According to historical records, Bandhavgarh Fort belonged to the Maharajas of Rewa, who owned the forest land. The fort is one of the many vantage points inside Bandhavgarh National Park that offers a mesmerising view of the dense forest.
Bengal tigers might be the star attraction here. But there are plenty of other animals that call Bandhavgarh their home. A Bandhavgarh National Park safari brings you close to 37 different species of mammals, including the majestic tiger. The forest reserve is densely populated with Indian leopards, Striped hyena, Barking deer, and Indian bison, among others.
The park also attracts gorgeous species of birds every year, including Plum-headed parakeet, Long-billed vultures, and Orange-headed thrush.
When you are in Bandhavgarh National Park, you are guaranteed an exciting rendezvous with nature and its unadulterated beauty.
